Abstract EN

Nowadays, industry is the mainstay of any country's economy.

it contributes to economic diversification.

it is also considered the main engine of economic growth and economic development.

in the same context, this scientific study came to present and analyze some indicators of the evolution of the industrial sector during the period 2000-2020.

as well as studying the impact of the growth of industrial product outside of hydrocarbons on the economic growth of Algeria during this period using the VAR model.

we concluded from this study that weak indicators of the growth of the Algerian industrial sector during the study period.

on the other hand, the applied study showed the absence of a causal relationship and joint integration between the variable of industrial product outside hydrocarbons and the variable of economic growth, as well as the presence of a weak impact of the evolution of industrial product outside of hydrocarbons on economic growth in Algeria during the period 2000-2020.
