Abstract EN

This research paper aims to research and analyze the impact of economic instability on economic growth and the extent of its relative importance compared to other factors affecting it, which helps to take appropriate policies to influence these variables and addresses their shortcomings, in order to achieve the goals of growth and development and we are on the threshold of a new phase of Change in Algerian society.

The study concluded that the Algerian economy has suffered greatly from economic instability, both at the internal level represented by the high level of inflation, or at the external level represented by the continuous decline in the national currency, and that the two variables together lead to many problems and imbalances, which negatively affected the level of performance Economic, and is one of the main reasons for the low rate of economic growth during the study period.

The study recommends taking measures aimed at increasing exports, limiting imports, encouraging capital flows and increasing remittances flows of workers abroad, with the aim of increasing foreign exchange, and then reducing the balance of payments deficit and consequently the deterioration of the value of the national currency, which supports the productive and competitive capacity of the Algerian economy
