Abstract EN

The discourse in general and the rhetoric one in particular takes a set of argumentative tools and styles that push the addressee to be influenced and convicted, and the most important of these tools are the argumentative factors and connectors.

in this, the rhetoric language where these factors and connectors are employed must largely lead to the process of persuasion in its discoursive style.

this is because these connectors and links hold so many different argumentative energies that lead the addressee to respond and be more docile to them.

through this study, we try to identify the argumentative religious and rhetorical discourses based on “Ibn al-Jawzi” s book of Damm al Hawa (treats of a profane love) as a practical model.

through this model, i intended to scrutinize the most important links and argumentative factors employed in both religious and rhetorical discourses, and explain their role in guiding the discourse and its argumentation.
