With different societies and peoples, progress and underdevelopment, persons with disabilities remain among the most vulnerable groups, and the most vulnerable and poor in underdeveloped countries in times of peace.

humanity and its application, both in peace and in times of armed conflict, the international community has sought to guarantee the rights of this group in the convention on persons with disabilities, but protecting them during armed conflicts is another matter, and for this purpose, the research aims by following the descriptive approach to address the international legal texts that provide protection for people with special needs during armed conflicts and the mechanisms to achieve them on the ground, and to analyze the most important of which is the use of the historical approach to determine the aspects of protection for persons with disabilities in human rights conventions and international humanitarian law conventions.
