The article aims to indicate the relationship between civil society and its role in achieving the contents of societal security in Algeria, as civil society organizations represent one of the most important pillars of achieving security in the state in general, but this role remains linked to many structural and functional obstacles and problems, which limit the effectiveness of this the social component in achieving the goals entrusted to it, and the article focused on identifying part of these obstacles, as well as developing some mechanisms that could pave the way for the reactivation of the role of civil society in Algeria in general, and especially in the field of achieving societal security.
