Abstract EN

The difficulty of race relations in the us is a persistent problem within American society.

it is a country where we continue to judge people on the basis of their skin color or ethnicity, and there exist continual differences between whites and African Americans.

the issue of equality still contradicts basic American values and ideals proclaimed since the colonial period.

moreover, one of the most controversial issues of equality in the us is affirmative action; a series of policies designed to create greater equality of opportunity within the disadvantaged category of American people.
