Abstract EN

The aim of the research was to reveal psychological immunity and its relationship to feeling stigma among a sample of mothers of children with hearing disabilities, and to reveal the differences between the average scores of mothers on the scales of psychological immunity and stigma according to the variables of chronological age and educational level of mothers.

The study sample consisted of 50 mothers of children with disabilities.

Hearing impairment, the research tools were applied, the Psychological Immunology Scale and the Stigma Scale, The results of the study concluded that there is a statistically significant negative correlation between psychological immunity and stigma among mothers of children with hearing disabilities.

Statistically significant between the average scores of mothers on the scales of psychological immunity and stigma according to the educational level of the mothers in favor of the high educational level The research recommends the need to pay attention to the families of children with hearing disabilities and raise the level of psychological immunity to them, through workshops, courses, and guidance and training programs offered to families, especially at the beginning of discovering the child's disability.
