This research aims to put the hallmarks of the origins of linguistic thinking of Haji Abd al-Rahman Salih.

As the student of his books notices the genius of the man in analyzing and demonstrating the comprehensive heritage of modern linguistics issues and increasing it to developing linguistic terms according to an approach that carries the legacy of the old with the good employment of the new, and for this it was necessary to follow the descriptive and analytical approach, by mentioning Haj Abd al-Rahman Salih's take from the research of grammar According to the ancients, their application, comparison, and comprehensiveness of modern linguistic research based on philosophical thought, and this is evidenced by placing the term conceptual and essential as a nucleus for its distinctive research for each of the linguistic sciences, and combining them with what falls under its term of similarities and analogues, and this turns out: The possibility of placing the term incoming within the linguistic system, through derivation and resurrection of deaths.

- Comparing the origins of grammar versus modern linguistic thought with clearly the possibilities extended by the fundamental grammatical research to include the modern investigation, such as Ibn Hani's verb in characteristics.
