Abstract EN

The research aims to identify the importance of social networks and the role they play in strengthening social, cultural and scientific bonds and ties among friends on Facebook pages, knowing the reactions among subscribers, the form and nature of publications for the owners of personal pages and the participation of others’ publications in what is published on their personal pages, which represents a type of personal self-archiving.

in addition, the research tried to find out the effect of the number of friends with the number of publications.

the descriptive survey method was used in the process of collecting and analyzing data.

for this, personal page sites were used according to the chosen intentional sample, which was represented by faculty members, self-employed person, undergraduate and graduate studies students, and on consecutively (25-18-3-4) the research reached many results related to the process of intellectual communication with its various topics and knowledge and how to form relationships without restrictions or conditions as well as to overcome geographical and linguistic barrier, which resulted in a hypothetical communication that supported traditional communication and is not an alternative to it.

a set of recommendations that would make the sobriety and confidence high among members of society present in the pages of a for Facebook and within multiple geographic areas and respect for views and opinions, especially with regard to materials published graphically or video recordings.
