Abstract EN

The research aimed to uncover the teaching practices of middle school science teachers in light of the approaches to science sociology (technical applications, social approach, and controversial issues).

the research adopted a descriptive analytical approach and conducted on (25) science teachers randomly selected from Dawadmi province.

a questionnaire was used to collect data, and the results showed : there are statistically significant differences at the level (0.01) or less between the averages of the degree of availability of teaching practices for science teachers in middle school in light of the approaches to science sociology, in addition to the presence of statistically significant differences between the sample views about the extent of approval of the degree of teaching practices for science teachers in the middle school in light of the approach to the controversial problems of the sociology of science is attributed to the scientific qualification for the benefit of teachers with master's degrees.

the most important recommendations were : training science teachers to teach according to the approach to the controversial problems of the sociology of science, and developing solutions to address the shortage of educational capabilities and means to help use the technical applications approach of the sociology of science.
