Nuclear energy has created a very different geopolitics from the geopolitics of petroleum energy.

The great powers competed in the production and use of nuclear energy in the manufacture of nuclear weapons and the practice of nuclear terrorism because of its devastating effect.

This influence pushed towards nuclear non-proliferation for fear of geopolitical slippage at times, accelerating the production of nuclear weapons to balance nuclear terrorism at other times, and developing defense systems to secure from the use of nuclear weapons at last.

Despite all this, nuclear energy has many advantages as well as many disadvantages, which prompts a review of both from the reality of some international writings.
