The war that took place against the people Of Bosnia and Herzegovina 1992-1995 is a model for the wars of ethnic cleansing, and one of the worst wars Of the twentieth century after World War II, after the collapse Of the Yugoslav Federation in 1991, Serbia tried to remain on the union de- spite the independence Of Slovenia, Croatia and Macedonia in 1991, which led Urging the people Of Bosnia and Herzegovina to secede from the Yugo- Slav federation and start the independence process.

The Serbs objected to this, and led a war against the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina that lasted between 1992-1995.

The last of which was the Srebrenica massacre in 1995, in which thousands Of people Of Bosnia and Herzegovina were killed with the knowledge and presence Of the United Nations forces.

Through the Dayton Agreement.

The Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia had a great role in the political and dip- Iomatic field in order to stop the war and support the cause Of the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as it was one of the first countries to recognize the independence Of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and used its political and diplo- matic influence in supporting the cause Of Bosnia and Herzegovina, whether in the Organization of the Islamic Conference or in the corridors Of the Unit- ed Nations It provided many material and in-kind assistance to the relief of the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina until the war ended, and it had a great role among the Islamic countries in restoring the infrastructure and support- ing urban projects for the people Of Bosnia and Herzegovina at various levels.
