Abstract EN

Sharaf al-Din al-Ansari evoked the Arab heritage in his poetry and insisted on the religious heritage, using his terminology, adapting the meanings of the Holy Quran, and inspiring his stories, summoning the events of the Prophet's biography and historical facts, until the religious character permeated his poetry and left wide resonance throughout.

The reader finds his poetry abundant in literary heritage, which carries a semantic and psychological richness worthy of study, by standing on: the inclusion of poetic texts, multiplication of proverbs, and the recall of literary figures.

He did not fail to employ folklore and legendary aspects, he was inspired by some popular beliefs prevalent in his era, as well as to call legendary symbols, and the exploitation of the mythical sense and took us to the world of superstition and exaggeration.

This study relied on the descriptive analytical approach to monitor the heritage presence and its implications in the poet's experience.
