Abstract EN

The study aimed to clarify the legislative confrontation with hate speech in Jordanian legislation and the scope of Jordanian legislative texts confronting the issue of hate speech, and the adequacy of these texts in that, and to show the extent to which Jordanian legislation is consistent and comparative legislation in dealing with the issue because of the severe effects of hate speech on the national and regional levels.

The researcher reached a number of results, the most important of which is that despite the existence of the requirements for criminalizing hate speech in the Jordanian legislation, there is a legislative shortage, especially in the reasons for which criminal responsibility is avoided.
