Abstract EN

The current research aims to study the features of modernity in the approach of Al-Talisi's criticism through his presentation of the conduct of the different doctrines towards specific critical issues and other things that are frequent in his critical writings.

The researcher was able to identify seven main pillars, which clearly highlight his critical theory, and these pillars appeared in his methodological introductions to his critical writings.

In his critical statements scattered as well in several places of these writings on the one hand, and these pillars are: Literary criticism is a science based on the explanation and interpretation of literary works.

-The link between endoscopy and application.

-Close connection between the past and the present.

-Comparative care in the context of critical study.

-Not centering around a single theory through which to explain literary works.

-The combination of subjectivity and objectivity in the monetary process.
