Abstract EN

Legislative stability represents a corner stone in foreign investment, as this research came to study this principle and the controversy of the conflict between the embodiment of the legal security of the investor on the one hand and the interest of the state in amending its legislation to ensure its interest towards others.

Jordanian legislation and the first topic, which is the types of the legislative stability requirement and its legal adaptation, and the second topic is the requirement for legislative stability of the law between its devotion to legal security and its restriction of state authority.

It was based on the descriptive and analytical approach in order to arrive at results that indicate the answer to the questions of the study.

The researcher reached a set of results, the most important of which is the necessity for the Jordanian legislator to provide compensation for compensation in case of violation of the legislative stability requirement, and it did not stipulate the basis of its assessment as well.

The state in the legislation and the investor’s right to stabilize the legislation or obtain compensation in the event that the legislation related to the contract is amended.
