Abstract EN

This research deals with the poetic samples in which the structure of the words was changed from the anthology “when the South sang" by the poet Fāṭimah Al-Qarnī.

The change might be in the forms of decreasing, increasing, or exchanging between the word formats.

This study aims to highlight those cahnges from the aspects of phonetic, morphology, and semantic and their roles in shaping the aesthetics of the creative texts.

The researcher adopted the descriptive and analytical methodology in this study.

The research was concluded with several findings, among which are: the importance of studying the structure of the word morphologically and phonetically within the context to identify the emotional traces of the poet; the structures of the words that were modified were not in accordance to the norms identified by the grammarians and they are to accommodate the poetic necessities for certain semantic purposes and other intended meanings she tried to convey.
