Abstract EN

The present study aimed to demonstrate the effect of green management practices on the organizational environmental performance specifically to measure the degree of the effect of the use alternative energy sources ; and support and orientation of the internal management for environmental friendly operations on the organizational environmental performance.

to achieve these objectives a quantitative descriptive analytical approach was used by using the questionnaire as data collection tool.

scales have been developed to measure green management practices and environmental organizational performance, then extracting the validity and reliability coefficients for the study scales, the questionnaires were distributed to a random sample consisted of (278) employees work in the Islamic international Arab bank.

the study used the appropriate statistical tests within the SPSS and AMOS software.

the results showed that there was a statistical significant effect at the level of significance (α ≤ 0.05) for the green management practices as a whole on the organizational environmental performance at Islamic International Arab Bank.

as well as, the results showed that green management practices explained (56%) of the changes that occur in the organizational environmental performance.

moreover, it was found that the level of adoption for the green management practices came in a medium degree in Islamic International Arab Bank’s0 also level of organizational environmental performance in Islamic International Arab Bank came in a moderate degree.

moreover, the results showed that there was a disparity in the degree of adopting green management practices from the participants’ viewpoint according to the difference in gender, while the disparity did not appear according to their educational qualification ; their job titles and years of experience, it was also found that there were no differences in the level of organizational environmental performance according to participants’ demographic and practical variables with the exception for gender that showed an impact on organizational environmental performance level.
