Abstract EN
The present study aimed to identify the effectiveness of a program based on applied behavior analysis to improve the behavior of children with autism, by asking the following questions : - are there statistically significant differences between the pre-measurement scores and the post-measurement scores of the study sample on the 2-cars scale? - are there statistically significant differences between the pre-measurement scores and the post-measurement scores of the study sample on the competency sheet and the behavior assessment according to the baseline after the program implementation? to answer these questions, the quasi-experimental approach with a one-group design was based on a sample of (10) children aged 3 to 8 who have been diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder for at least one year.

the study was conducted at the Basma mental health clinic and used measurement and diagnostic tools represented by the scopler-cars scale (2-cars, 2017), the electronic version and each of the competency sheets, and the behavior assessment card.
according to the baseline.
the study found : - there were statistically significant differences between the pre-measure scores and the post-measure scores of the study sample in favor of post-measure on the cars 2 scale - after application of the program.
- there were statistically significant differences between the pre-measure scores and the post-measure scores of the study sample in favor of post-measure on the skill observation and assessment cards baseline behavior after program implementation.
the results were discussed and interpreted based on theoretical heritage and previous studies.
