therefore, it is literary genre, with the most flexibility and openness to new perspectives.

this is achieved by dint of special techniques whereby it carries away the reader to new worlds, in which reality blends with fiction, the rational with the irrational and the exotic with the supernatural in a dramatic framework full of life and existential elements.

among the new experimental themes prominent in the contemporary novel is science fiction literature; the latter is modernist term vehemently linked to prose and particularly to the novel.

it emerged in the literary scene as a form of fine literature with events that take place in imaginary worlds where the novelist writes about time machines and conveys to us events and scenes involving supernatural creatures, all of which are unfathomable to human mind.

therefore, the novel is a mix of convincing elegant expressions and strange unpredictable events.

in reference to Faisal al-Ahmar’s Amin al-Alwani, the novel did not drift away from the aforementioned view as it merged between reality and fiction.

it displays the future as one in which the machine dominates and replaces the human.
