Abstract EN

This article presents a new approach to employing the "theory of the distinctive features" in order to invest the results of modern sound studies in teaching the pronunciation of the sounds of standard Arabic language.

it was the need for the formation of programs to train teachers and provide modern sound knowledge focused on the practical side and the didactic transposition successful between the theoretical knowledge and applied procedures in teaching.

after introducing the work to the theory of the distinctive features and its prominent models, the article suggested a statement from the hypothesis of “phonological sieve” in order to clarify the relationship between the language of the mother and the acquired language.

the adoption of the principle of "phonological opposition" in teaching pronunciation of standard Arabic phonemes to rely on practical measures based on the premise of the "auditory perception" an ideal solution for teaching a typical Arabic sounds final.

we have called, in parallel with the application of the theory of “the distinctive features”, to investing “the science of Tajwid” in the didactic mastery of pronunciation of Arabic sounds.
