To diagnose the disease, duodenum biopsy is considered the gold standard in diagnosis and because of the importance of early laboratory diagnosis of celiac disease for appropriate management and treatment, immunological and molecular diagnostic techniques for celiac disease have been presented with the advantages and disadvantages of each method.
