Abstract EN

This article aims to introduce the Prophet’s Mosque Academy, clarifying its efforts, characteristics, implementation and dissemination techniques.

It also aims to identify the effects and fruits of the Holy Qur’an and scientific texts, be they in direct or online education, in spreading the Dawah, and mentioning the motivations provided by the Academy for students.

The study employs the descriptive survey approach, making use of questionnaire as a tool for collecting the data.

The study population is the teachers of the Academy who are still on their job, and the male and female students in the Holy Qur’an and scientific texts in direct and online education- (145137) participants.

The sample of the study was randomly chosen representing the original study population.

The study concludes with the following findings: 1.

The important reasons for male and female students to enroll in the Holy Qur’an and scientific texts include the status of the Mosque of our Prophet (PBUH) in their souls, their keenness to memorize the Holy Qur’an and scientific texts, and their desire to straighten their tongues by learning the correct pronunciation of the Holy Qur’an, and the scientific texts, and the possibility of choosing the period that suits them in direct and distance education.

The prominent means and methods of the Academy in spreading the Dawah include starting with short Qur’anic verses and focusing on the quality of memorization, not its abundance, using good words, providing printed scientific text books for male and female students and their distribution free of charge, and providing electronic copies on the distance education website.

The prominent obstacles facing male and female teachers include the high costs of the Internet for some students with low incomes.

In distance education, the difficulty of dealing with older students, children, or non-Arabic speakers, their response to the repetition of the verse or the text, and the frequent absence of the male or female students without an excuse.
