Abstract EN

This study aimed to study the Relationship between management information systems and strategic planning the problem of the study was represented in the role of management information systems in strategic planning by Applying on high education - Sudan.

The study used descriptive analyses approaches.

The study population of sundaes Universities in Khartoum state.

Used random sample of (200) individuals was selected from the study population to a number of results from them.

There is a direct (positive) significant correlation at the level (0.05) between management information systems and strategic planning –and it recommended a number of recommendations , including the development of along-term strategic plan based on the integration of management information systems .The need to use information systems experts when strategic planning The need to pay attention to continuous training and qualification to raise Professional efficiency Work on providing data and information storage media with sufficient capacity.
