Abstract EN

The current study aimed to verify the effectiveness of a realistic counseling program in developing emotional stability and reducing emotional divorce among women resorting to the Family Protection Department in the Governorate of Karak- Jordan.

The sample of the study consisted of (18) women who resort to the Family Protection Department.

The study aimed to develop two measures of emotional stability and emotional divorce, as well as to build a counseling program based on a realistic treatment.

The results of the study revealed the effectiveness of the program in developing emotional stability and reducing emotional divorce.

It also showed that there is an effective role of the program in maintaining the long-term impact on the members of the experimental group.

The study concluded with some recommendations related to the results.
