Abstract EN

This research looks forward to studying Chomsky’s linguistic efforts from the perspective of linguistic studies in our Arabic culture, as this linguist holds a prominent role in Western linguistic studies and wide knowledge in different theories and contemporary philosophical issues, as well as for the one who traces the efforts can barely find a cognitive crossroad with other world languages.

Therefore, the subject of our study lies in the Arabic linguistic cultural heritage, it being a subject worthy of follow-up in comparative studies that combine old and modern linguistic courses, particularly when it is related to grammatical structure and issues concerning thought and mind.

Among the results attained in the conclusion of the research is emphasizing the possibility of conducting comparative studies between Chomsky's linguistic efforts and what has been established in our Arab heritage in terms of grammar and thought, especially in Sibawayh's grammatical sayings and Abdul Qaher's concepts in systems, commentary and structure.
