The paper deals with the issue of Emirati intervention in Yemen: motives and challenges, the importance of the paper is that it tries Standing on the goals that the UAE seeks to achieve by joining the military alliance to confront the Houthi coup against the legitimate authority in Yemen.

The problem with the paper is that it attempts to shed light on the unspoken goals and motives of the Emirati intervention in Yemen and the challenges that hinder this, the paper was based on the premise that there were undeclared goals that prompted the UAE to intervene in Yemen and participate in the military coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The historical, descriptive and case study method was used.

The paper reached several conclusions: Yemen has enjoyed an important geopolitical and strategic position, attracting the attention of regional powers to it, The UAE has hidden, undeclared goals related to achieving long-term interests and goals that pushed it to participate in the military coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The paper came out with several recommendations: Regional powers refrain from interfering in Yemeni internal affairs in a way that serves their interests, the need to unite the Yemeni forces to confront these external interventions that threaten the unity and stability of the Yemeni people.
