This paper presents a study on the history of the red sea in the islamic era, extending from the first century ah / seventh century ad, until the ninth ah / fifteenth century ad, it draws its attention to its importance in civilized activity, and this activity is what made it part of the historical events that it chronicles, and therefore this paper will follow the practical application of the most important red sea ports and ports, which contributed to changing the geopolitical map in the islamic era, based on a specific historical perception , a concept that examines the relationship of ports and outposts to the red sea; in proportion to the topic of the paper, and its aim is not to study each of country and its coasts separately
