As soon as The Umayyads took power in 41 Ah/661 A.D.

strife began to trickle down on them from all sides، the Umayyads realized that they were targeted by an internal opposition with multiple objectives، including Shiites، Kharijites، Zuberi، Marja and Qadria، as well as rebel elements here and there، the Umayyads and their governors had to do their best to put out the fire of this opposition and limit its movements.

Therfore our paper، highlighting these movements against the rule of the Umayyad، and the Umayyad approach in dealing with them، what are the most prominent of these movements? What methods did the Umayyads take to confront and eliminate them?
