fayzeThe current study aims to identify the relationship between self-concept and self-control among children of mixed marriages (marriage to foreign women) in adolescence.

The sample consisted of the children of mixed marriages for secondary school students whose ages ranged from 15-16 years, and they numbered 125 male and female students in the city of Al-Marj for the academic year 2015/2016.

The relational descriptive approach was used.The results showed that there was a negative and statistically significant correlation at the level (0.01) between the self-concept variable and the self-control variable, and there were statistically significant differences between the sample mean and the hypothetical average in favor of the hypothetical average at the significance level (0.01) in the self-concept variable.
