Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the visible and invisible parts of the body in the poetry of Al-Ahwas and its physical reality according to anatomy, as well as how the poet used these words linguistically, then how these words highlighted the psychological feelings that they express through the context.

Since the significance of the study stems from the fact that body language is an aspect of silent communication that interprets sensory processes within the subconscious mind, the body parts speak up with uncontrollable suffering.

Additionally, body language is closely related to many other sciences.

The study examined the features of body language in visible parts (such as the eye) and invisible parts (such as the heart) by analyzing some poetic verses in the light of the linguistic levels.

On the one hand, the study clarified the relationship between spoken language and body language, on the other hand the poet's psychological and nervous state.

The study investigates body language in the Arab heritage, as well as in modern linguistics by defining the relevance between body language, communication sciences, linguistics, and psychology.

Thus, the descriptive analytical method was adopted in this study.

One of the most prominent findings of the study was that there is a solid connection between the poet's language and physiology.
