This research comes to study the subject of sadness in the poetic works of the poet Amal Dunqul.

the texts that carried sadness among its folds, as we linked sadness and the presence of women in the texts, sadness and death, sadness and the diaries of life.

among the most important findings of the research, is that the poet employed sadness in important concepts related to man, his destiny and what he will meet in his unknown future.
