Abstract EN

This study aimed to highlight the jurisdiction of the insolvency lawsuit in the Omani civil transactions law, as the Omani legislator did not regulate civil insolvency with an independent law and rules.

so, it is necessary to refer to the original law, which is the Omani civil transactions law, and to stand on the basis of these rules, to clarify and analyze them, with exposure to the most important judicial principles related to insolvency issued by the Omani supreme court, and an explanation of what the jurists of the four Islamic sects wrote about insolvency issues, its details and rules.

the study concluded with a set of results and recommendations that were placed in the conclusion of the research.
