Abstract EN

The research aims to investigate the relationship between higher education and human development in Algeria, as it focuses on some indicators representing the inputs of higher education (the budget of higher education) and its outputs (the index of the development of scientific and technical newspaper articles and the indicator of the development of patent applications) as independent variables, and the human development index as a variable subordinate.

for this purpose, a standard study was used for the period (2000-2018) aimed at building a multiple regression model for these variables.

the study concluded that there is a direct relationship between the inputs and outputs of higher education and human development.
