Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the legal classification under Islamic law of the rent-to-own contract and the possibility of benefiting from it in some banking corporations in Palestine.

This topic was chosen to be studied by the researcher due to its importance as a financial tool in the Islamic banks.

Besides, it is one of the new contracts that need additional research and study.

The researcher depended on the descriptive analytical approach to achieve the objectives of the study.

The study found a set of results, and the most significant of which was that the rent-to-own is applied in Palestine through (Palestine Islamic bank) within the Shari'a standards known among scholars.

Moreover, the closest contract to rentto-own contract is lease and installment sales contract.
