Abstract EN

The Air force and Navy force were established in 1962 by a decree issued by King Idris al-Senussi, and with the help of foreign countries (Britain and the United States of America), in exchange for keeping their military bases in the Libyan territories represented by the two military bases of al-Adam and Wheelus.

The nature of this study required an introduction, one chapter, and a conclusion.

In the topic, the establishment of the Air Force and the Navy force were discussed, which are one of the significant aspects of the development of the Libyan army and the attitude of foreign countries towards it.

This study aimed at shedding light on the establishment of the Air force and Navy force in Libya.

The importance of this study lies in being an attempt to understand and know the conditions that contributed to the establishment of the Air force and Navy force in 1962.
