تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى دراسة أثر استخدام التكنولوجيا المالية الرقمية على الشمول المالي في الدول العربية خلال الفترة (2020-2016)، و لقد تضمنت عينة الدراسة عشرين دولة عربية و تم تطبيق تحليل السلاسل الزمنية المقطعية Panel Data و لقد توصلت الدراسة إلى نتيجة مفادها أن استخدام الإنترنت في المعاملات المالية له أثر معنوي موجب على الشمول المالي في الدول العربية حيث تتصدر دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية بشكل عام الدول العربية.
كذلك بالنسبة لاستخدام ماكينات الصراف الآلي له أثر معنوي موجب على الشمول المالي، حيث شهد عدد مستخدمي هذه الآلات تزايدا في معظم الدول العربية مثل الكويت بـ 79 ماكينة للصراف الآلي مقابل 100 ألف من السكان و تليها المملكة العربية السعودية بـ 67 ماكينة و قطر بـ 54 ماكينة، و بعدها الإمارات العربية المتحدة بـ 52 ماكينة للصراف الآلي مقابل 100 ألف من السكان، و تتذيل القائمة كل من موريتانيا، الجزائر، العراق.
بينما وجدت الدراسة على الجانب الآخر أن استخدام بطاقات الائتمان ليس له أثر معنوي على الشمول المالي في الدول العربية.
Abstract EN
This research paper aims to study the impact of the use of digital financial technology on financial inclusion in the Arab countries during the period (2016-2020).
the study sample included twenty Arab countries and a cross-sectional time series analysis was applied.
the study concluded that the use of the internet in financial transactions has a significant positive impact on financial inclusion in the Arab countries, where the members of the gulf cooperation council (GCC), in general, lead the Arab countries, as well as for the use of automated teller machines, which has a significant positive impact on financial inclusion.
the number of users of these machines has seen an increase in most Arab countries such as Kuwait with 79 ATM machines per 100,000 population, followed by Saudi Arabia with 67, Qatar with 54 and the United Arab Emirates with 52 ATM machines per 100,000 population.
the bottom of the list has included Mauritania, Algeria and Iraq.
furthermore, the study found that the use of credit cards has no significant impact on financial inclusion in the Arab countries.
