Abstract EN

Our research paper aims at exploring some of the Maghreb modern narrative criticism in relation to their reception of Michael Bakhtin concepts in the field of narrative criticism since many of his concepts and ideas were present in the critical discourse in its different approaches and kinds.

This has pushed many Maghreb critics receive these concepts by translating them from Russian to French Through two famous critical lines which are: 1-Julia Cristiva 1960…19662-Tazvitan Todorov in the 1980'sIn addition to translating from Russian or French to Arabic language made by Youcef Halak, Djamel Chhid, Mohamed Barada and Chakir Nasr Edinne that had a great importance in transferring Bakhtins concept in Maghreb and Arabic narrative criticism.

Our research paper seeks to ask two main questions: -what are the Bakhtin sayings that the Maghreb critical discourse has received? -what are the references of the Maghreb critics in their reception of Bakhtin concepts?
