Abstract EN

The study aimed to determine the educational evaluation methods used in open education and their role in increasing the achievement of learners.

The methods^ were applied at the Open University of Sudan through the study community, which consisted of 350 male and female supervisors in the three branches of the university in the state of Khartoum.

A regular random sample of multiples of the number (5) was selected to consist of 70 academic supervisors.

The descriptive analytical approach was used; a questionnaire of five axes was used as a study tool.The results showed that the designed university textbooks, laboratory experiments, research, graduation projects, assignments and exams had a significant role in increasing achievement.

This study recommended reviewing the types of questions used in exams and homework by using other types other than objective questions.
