The study dealt with monitoring the resources of the Red Sea, which has a privileged location, as it is located between Africa in Egypt, Sudan, Eritrea, the Arabian Peninsula in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Yemen, and it is also linked to the Gulf of Aden, the Arabian Sea, and the Strait of Bab al-Mandab, and the Red Sea was considered an important trade route in Antiquity.

Its importance is: It contributes to monitoring the resources of the Red Sea in the present and expected future, which benefit decisionmakers.

The problem of the study is that the Red Sea countries suffer from a lack of accurate monitoring of their resources and their independence to make optimal use of digital maps that show and illustrate the resources of the Red Sea region , and maps that clarify the mortgage situation to build the future and to address the problems of low resource production and misuse of the countries that own them.

It also aims to know the pattern of distribution of resources that exist in the Red Sea countries and the pattern of their spatial distribution in the vicinity of the countries of the sea using maps and geographic information systems (GIS).

The study asks about what is the current state of the Red Sea resources? What is the future of the Red Sea resources? And that is through the descriptive and analytical approach based on the cartography representation and the pictures that aid the study.

Among the findings of the study is that the Red Sea region as a whole includes 20 countries that use this navigational route as a main corridor for trade, and it is one of the largest, fastest growing and least exploitative markets in the world for its resources, and it is a region rich in many natural resources that are still virgin as the study showed that the gross domestic product For the seven riparian Arab countries, it exceeds one trillion and one hundred billion dollars; The World Bank expects this output to exceed $ 6 trillion by 2050Among the most important recommendations are the establishment of a unified entity to protect the regional security of the Red Sea countries Protecting its economic resources, increasing trade exchange, and enhancing investment opportunities, in order to achieve comprehensive development for the Arab and African peoples.
