Abstract EN

This study aimed to demonstrate strategic planning in its dimensions (environmental analysis, and strategy formulation) and its impact on enhancing social responsibility in its dimensions (moral responsibility, legal responsibility, economic responsibility, charitable responsibility, and environmental responsibility) at the greater Amman municipality.

the study relied on the quantitative approach (descriptive and analytical), and the study population consisted of (252) managers in the greater Amman municipality.

in order to achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was developed as a main tool for collecting study data, and (248) electronic questionnaires were distributed to the study sample, as the percentage of valid questionnaires for analysis was (97.2%) of the total distributed questionnaires.

the study reached a number of results, the most important of which are : there is a statistically significant effect at the level of significance (α ≤ 1015) for strategic planning in terms of its dimensions in social responsibility in terms of its dimensions and the study also showed that there were statistically significant differences in the opinions of the study sample towards social responsibility due to age and years of experience.
