The study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of learning resource rooms in public schools in the I Iashemite Kingdom of Jordan, according to the direct observations contained in the evaluation reports of the Education Quality and Accountability Unit (EQAU).

The sample schools were selected through the Kingdom's schools that received an evaluation visit from 2016 to 2019, and there were 163 schools with learning resource rooms.

The study concluded that the reality of employing the learning resource room and activating its service for students was within the average, while the performance differences attributed to the effect of gender in this area were in favor of the female teachers, and the students’ diagnosis as a case of learning difficulties was within the average, but it was not within the correct assessment foundations as it is a lot Of the students who joined the learning resource room were within the Academic achievement weakness and not learning difficulties, The differences in the performance of the learning resource room were attributed to the effect of qualification in rooms that included students with other disabilities, and were in favor of male and female teachers with a special education qualification, while the formation of the Learning Difficulties Committee and most of the students’ files were below average as those responsible for it were such as school principals, educators supervisors and teachers Resource rooms need professional development to be completed in accordance with the requirements and instructions of the Ministry of Education.
