This research is entitled heresy and the reasons for its spread.

In this research, I dealt with the definition of heresy in language and legal terminology, censure of heresy in religion and that heresy is reprehensible from the faces: the Noble Qur’an, the Sunnah of the Prophet, the sayings of the Companions and followers.

It also dealt with the reasons for the spread of heresy in religion, including: ignorance, following whims, silence of scholars and concealment of knowledge, imitating the infidels and imitating them.

This research was followed by a conclusion that included the results, recommendations, and the most important sources and references.
