Abstract EN

With increasing the use of poorly soluble drugs, many problems have been emerged in producing different dosage forms which contain these substances, as well their bioavailability and efficacy, especially for oral dosage forms.

In this study, different ways of paracetamol crystallization have been carried out, by using different methods.

The resulted crystals have been characterized physicochemically and their pharmaceutical properties were investigated.

The compressibility of previous crystal forms of Paracetamol were studied, and tablets having similar formulation were prepared using each type of these crystals.

Tablets with acceptable characteristics have been obtained, with high dissolution rate, when preparing Paracetamol crystals by fast cooling rate.
