The research mainly aims to find the role through which the electronic payment methods represented by electronic money contribute to the impact on the gross domestic product, where the research was divided into three sections: The first section shows the definition of electronic money and what are the characteristics of this money, as it was found that Electronic money has a set of characteristics that help make it a form of legal money that is largely dealt with, in addition to the factors that led to the emergence of electronic money.

In the second section, the concept of GDP was clarified and what is the importance of GDP as an important indicator of the economic situation of the country, and then the ways in which GDP is calculated.

In the last section of the research, the relationship between electronic money and GDP was clarified by studying the impact of the role of money on gross output based on the interpretation of economic schools starting with the classical school and how they interpreted the role of money in influencing gross output, then moving to the Keynesian school that showed that the amount Money directly affects both the demand and supply of money on the speed of circulation and thus the impact on the total output, and finally the relationship was explained through the money school and what is the role that money affects the total output.

At the end of the research, a set of conclusions and recommendations were reached that support the research in general.
