The study aimed to Identfy the obstacles to improving the performance of the principals of public secondary schools in the State of Kuwait in the light of the strategic vigilance approach, and to reach the most prominent proposals to confront the obstacles to the improvement of the performance of the principals of secondary schools in the State of Kuwait in the light of the strategic vigilance approach.

The study used the descriptive approach, and the questionnaire was applied to a sample It consisted of (450) teachers and principals of public secondary schools in the State of Kuwait, and the study ended with the formulation of a set of proposals to address the obstacles to improving the performance of principals of secondary schools in the State of Kuwait in the light of the approach of strategic vigilance, including: Providing a modern and effective communication network to serve the school's information system Constantly monitoring technological and scientific developments in its various disciplines, employing leadership for research and development programs to enhance its competitive position among other secondary schools to achieve quality school performance, ensuring that employees are trained to use the hardware and software of the information system, accrediting school principals, working to improve communication mechanisms between Teachers and all school staff, encouragement Dissemination of distinguished marketing knowledge to support work to achieve the quality of school performance, meeting the requirements of parents and their various secondary needs on contemporary technologies and software in the implementation of electronic management programs within them.
