Abstract EN

This research deals with the Moroccan position on the Egyptian-Syrian unity project, which emerged as a result of the rapprochement between the two parties in foreign policy since 1955, which resulted in the establishment of Arab economic cooperation and the strengthening of military cooperation.

To produce this rapprochement towards the establishment of a complete unity between them, the project was announced on February 22, 1958, and ended on September 28, 1961, as a result of a number of reasons that will be clarified by this research and the impact of this unity in the search for a Maghreb unity, and the holding of the Tangiers Conference in 1958 and the Egyptian position on it.
