The number of small refineries operating ten refineries in 2018, divided by five refineries in the northern region, namely, (Kazak, Qayyarah, Kirkuk, Chinese, modern), and by three refineries in the central region (Samawah, Najaf, Diwaniyah), and Msfian in the southern region (Maysan , Dhi Qar), And the overall production capacity of the design of the refineries above reached 230 thousand barrels / day divided into 90olv barrels / day refinery small subsidiary of North Refineries Company or accounted for 39.1% of the total design capacity while the share of small refineries, a subsidiary of Midland Refineries 80 thousand barrels / day or a rate of 34.7% As for the amount of production design for refineries Southern Company has reached 60 thousand barrels / day or the equivalent of 26% of the total energy, either on the actual energy amounted to 161.8 thousand barrels / day were distributed to refineries above (7.2, 2.6 0.29, 9, 16.1, 6.7, 20.7, 20.8, 12.5, 16.2, 29.1).
