Abstract EN

The historicism is one of the most prominent concepts presented by the Arab modernist movement to approach the Islamic heritage, and the most controversial in the case of inserting the major heritage texts firmly rooted in the Islamic mind, as well as interfering to approach the Quranic text ; it was categorically rejected and met with a very sharp attack by the Islamic milieu ; this is due to the belief that it transforms the Quranic text into a historical document whose validity is limited to the time and place in which it appeared, which turned this concept into a major problem that made it impossible to accept it.

the current research attempts to present the concept, highlight and address its problems, and how it used educationally.
