Abstract EN

This research aimed to detected the interaction between the two patterns of practicing educational activities (individual/ cooperative) and the response time to them (time-limited / not time- limited) in an electronic learning environment based on Gamification via smart phones and their impact on the development of achievement and motivation for achievement for students of educational technology.

Where the developmental research approach was used to set the foundations, principles and standards for designing an e-learning environment based on Gamification via smart phones, according to the two types of activities and response time on them, then developing, using and evaluating them.

The research tools represented an achievement test to measure the knowledge of the electronic educational games course, And a measure of achievement motivation for first-year students, Educational Technology Division, and the global experimental design (2×2) was relied on a sample of (40) students from the first-year students, Educational Technology Division, at the Faculty of Specific Education- Menoufia University, for the academic year 2021- 2022, and they were divided in four experimental groups according to the research variables, then a basic research experiment was conducted, and then several results were reached, the most important of which is the ence of statistically significant differences.

Between the mean scores of students in the post application of the two research tools, it is due to the main effect of the two patterns of practicing activities (individual / cooperative), as well as it was proven that there are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students in the post application of the two research tools, due to the main effect of response time on the activities, It was also proven that there was no effect of the interaction between the two patterns of practicing activities, and the response time on the two variables dependent on the research.
